Root via Magisk / KernelSU

Patch boot / init_boot then flash via fastboot
Use KernelSU if you need SUSFS. Avoid SUSFS custom kernel if hotspot breaks.

Get stock boot.img
Extract from HyperOS fastboot ROM or payload.bin of current AOSP ROM.

Patch in Manager
Install Magisk / KSU Manager → Install → Select and Patch a File → pick boot.img → get magisk_patched.img

Flash patched img
Boot to fastboot, flash to boot or init_boot partition as required.
fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img4
Verify root
Reboot system, open Manager check Ramdisk Yes + modules. Test via root checker.
