Flash AOSP via Vendor Boot

VAB method for Helio G99-Ultra, sideload via AOSP recovery

Back up first. Clean flash will wipe internal data.

Download vendor_boot & ROM

Download matching vendor_boot.img and ROM (.zip). Place in platform-tools folder or external SD.

Boot to fastboot & flash vendor_boot

Power off, hold Power + Volume Down until FASTBOOT. Connect to PC then run:

fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img

Reboot to recovery

Type reboot, quickly hold Volume Up until AOSP recovery appears.

fastboot reboot

Sideload ROM

In recovery choose Apply update → Apply from ADB. Or select ZIP from SD.

adb sideload rom.zip

Confirm Yes → reboot recovery

After sideload finishes, choose Yes. Device will reboot to recovery to switch A/B slot.

Flash GApps / Magisk (optional)

Skip if ROM includes GApps. MindTheGapps recommended.

adb sideload MindTheGapps.zip

Format Data & Reboot System

If clean flashing from HyperOS/another ROM, do Factory Reset / Format Data. Then Reboot system.
